“Honoring the Ancestors: What Is Remembered Lives” presented by CUUPS MV

At this time of year in cultures across the world, people recognize the changing seasons
— the dying summer, the final harvests — and set aside time to honor, remember, and
celebrate those who have gone before. In this service, we will invite anyone so inclined
to bring up a memento of a chosen ancestor, speak their name, and place it on the altar.
Together we will honor all of our ancestors with both reverence and mirth. Please note:
We will have tokens for those who did not bring a memento, and all mementos will
return home at the end of the service. View our Order of Service here: UUSMV OOS October 26, 2025

About CUUPS
The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is an organization dedicated to networking Pagan-identified Unitarian Universalists (UUs), educating people about Paganism, promoting interfaith dialogue, developing Pagan liturgies and theologies, and supporting Pagan-identified UU religious professionals. On the Island, we are slowly rebuilding an active chapter for local pagans to find community and companionship under the CUUPS MV umbrella.
