“Living Hope in the Darkness” with Rev. Vicky Hanjian

When we gather on December 21, we are mindful that it is the winter solstice – the shortest, darkest day of the year. We are also in the season of the lighted Hanukkah Candles, of Advent Candles, of the coming of a new Consciousness represented in Christmas tradition of birth and renewal, on the brink of welcoming the increase of light again as the solstice passes. While the returning light of the cosmos does not dispel the darkness of this time we are enduring, the sermon on Sunday will entertain the notion that we can dance in the darkness with hope.
