The seed below the frozen ground. The furry critter cozy in its den. The impatient ewes in the barn. They are all anticipating the coming light and warmth, hardened against the dark and cold of winter — but not idly. The long winter is a time of transformation, and Imbolc marks the first awakening of nature, signaling winter’s impending end. As we face the dark, cold times around us, we too can anticipate and transform, ready to awaken. Join us as we celebrate the returning light and the coming spring!
The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is an organization dedicated to networking Pagan-identified Unitarian Universalists (UUs), educating people about Paganism, promoting interfaith dialogue, developing Pagan liturgies and theologies, and supporting Pagan-identified UU religious professionals. On the Island, we are slowly rebuilding an active chapter for local pagans to find community and companionship under the CUUPS MV umbrella.
