“Grace at the Heart of Every Matter” with Rev. Vicky Hanjian

In 1977, Belgian physical chemist, Ilya Prigogine, won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for
his Theory of Dissipative Structures. The theory is immediately relevant to everyday life
– to human beings. It offers a scientific model for transformation at every level. It
explains the critical role of stress in transformation – – and the impetus toward
transformation inherent in nature.
Sunday’s sermon will explore the idea that a scientific theory might reveal a quality of
(Divine?) Grace to be found in the complexities of the turmoil we live in at the moment.
