The music at the UUSMV is diverse and includes hymns sung by the congregation at services, as well as guest musicians, such as a harpist playing for the Christmas Candlelight service, a Klezmer musician accompanying a Jewishly-themed service’s co-leader, a Spirituals Choir celebrating Juneteenth, and a duo or quintet brought in specially for a service or a weekend of events.

Our Choir sings at one or two services each month.  Membership in the choir is open to all;  UUSMV membership is not required.   The only requirement is a love of music and regular attendance at rehearsals, which occur one evening per week.  If you would like to sing with us prior to becoming a member, you are welcome.
