“When Trust is Betrayed” with Rev. Vicky Hanjian

A betrayal of trust is when someone breaks the confidence or trust that another person has placed in them. We’re living through a chaotic time when the many systems we have come to trust and depend upon for ordering the life of society are either threatened or being dismantled. Betrayal of this kind deeply impacts us and can lead to anger and emotional upheaval. This kind of upheaval begs the question that will guide Sunday’s sermon: “How might we move through this betrayal in a healthful way and avoid becoming what we hate?”
