How to Take Part in Our Conversation on the Proposed Changes to Article 2

There are Four different sessions in the discussion curriculum. 

Session 1: Covenant

Session 2: Purpose, Inspirations, Inclusion, and Freedom of Belief

Session 3: Love — Exploring the Centering Value in the proposed Article II

Session 4: Six Values: Interdependence, Justice, Equity, Generosity, Pluralism, and Transformation. We will also discuss the proposed amendments at this session.

 

Our in-person sessions will take place on Sundays after church at the chapel. Our on-line sessions will take place on Wednesdays at 6pm in our UUSMV Zoom room. 

Please feel free to mix and match the online and in-person depending on your schedule. We recognize that 4 meetings is a challenging commitment, but it will be to everyone’s benefit if you try to attend all four sessions. Our Zoom sessions will be recorded, with the permission of the attendees, so that people who may need to miss a session can catch up.

 

At the Chapel — all sessions will occur at approximately 11:30 (after the worship service) giving everyone a chance to connect and get some food.
