Learning is lifelong
and at UUSMV we offer programs for children and adults to support each individual’s journey of spiritual growth, ethical growth, justice action, and faith development in a nurturing, caring community.
Take a look at our upcoming programs. Many are open to visitors.
Programs for Children & Youth: Our children’s programs are more than just classes. On any Sunday, you may see our children transported to another place and time to learn of other cultures and religions, or participating in a service project, or learning about justice circles, or playing games that reinforce community and cooperation. Whatever the activity, our programs offer fellowship and fun.
Our programs for adults include sharing circles, book discussions, lectures, workshops, and spiritual practice groups.
If you have an idea or request for a specific lifelong learning program, contact our volunteer coordinator, Barbara Caseau at 508-693-8982.
Library: There are a variety of books available for members and friends. If you would like to borrow a book, simply put your name, the date, and the borrowed resource on the clipboard next to the library shelves.
The Lifelong Learning Committee oversees the development of the UU Explorers program and identifies and supports individuals who want to champion or lead adult and multi-generational programs. The committee includes four members of the congregation who serve for 2-year terms that are staggered. The Minister and Religious Education Coordinator are ex officio members.
